This item comes direct from Dell, in box sealed by Dell, after Dell refurbished it back to factory specs. So it is the same as buying directly from Dell. Dell states most of these "Dell Refurbished" units are just Dell returned because the wrong product was ordered or the customer changed their mind. As a result, they cannot be sold as "new." When Dell Refurbishes them, Dell reinstalls Windows fresh, and goes through the system to insure all is up to same standard as a new system. While most units will be like new costmetically, some units might have a very slight cosmetic blemishes, like small scratches or other very slight blemishes. We find Dell refurbished an outstanding value over new. Since items are sealed from Dell we cannot test them, but we do offer TOP FLIGHT CONCIERGE SERVICE to help get any service done by Dell if the system arrives with a problem.

Encountering a problem? Just email iGiveback your contact info and we will get back with you within 1 business day to take care of it! We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers! Unopened items can be returned with a 10% restocking fee. After opened, the condition is changed (per ebay policy) and so iGiveback will only accept a return for a total refund of the purchase price and no restocking fee if the product purchased arrives with a clear defect and Dell is unable to fix the item or or there is a clear error in the listing. Any issue with the machine must be reported within 14 days of purchase to be eligible for a return. Prior to return we require a phone call for remote diagnosis and coordination with Dell to give us a chance to validate and/or attempt fix any problem. If you are not willing to do remote diagnosis by phone with us and work with Dell returns won't be accepted. Returned items that after inspection do not have a clear defect will have a 15% restocking fee + our actual shipping costs subtracted from the refund. The laptop and all packaging must be same as new, and Windows cannot be modified. In all cases, shipping is non-refundable.
